Incorrigible

You may have noticed a comment on one of my previous posts mentioning that I was incorrigible. [[Incorrigible-firmly fixed; not easily changed.]] This is the definition that I prefer. Not [[Incorrigible-Incapable of being corrected or reformed]]. (Both from dictionary.com). I, however, fail to see how I am incorrigible. I started out on a Zune. It was wonderful. I loved it. I even created a Facebook group for people who like Zunes better than iPods. Then it broke for no reason, so I got another one with high hopes. I figured that the previous one was just a dud, but then the second one broke. It was at that point that I decided that Apple definitely has the upper hand when it comes to MP3 players. I don’t have any experience with the Zune HD, but I know that I can’t have a metronome, blogging app, or The Sims 3 on it, so I’m pretty sure I prefer the iPod touch. This doesn’t seem too incorrigible to me.

I mentioned in that article that I was typing the entire thing on my iPod because Internet Explorer decided not to work. I don’t blame the Windows team for this mishap. I blame the Internet Explorer team. It is beyond me why they fail to make an adequate Internet browser, when non profit companies, such as Opera, can make browsers that top out the charts on tests like the Acid3 test. On my Windows 7 laptop, I have IE8, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, and Firefox. I’m currently testing each one for a future blog post, and so far, each of them works beautifully, except IE8. This is a Microsoft Product, and once again, I don’t prefer it. It is not that I am incorrigible. It is that I simply prefer a PC over a Mac. I don’t own a Mac, however I have used one quite a bit, and while none of the experiences have been bad, I just like the simplicity, customization options, and third-party software support of a PC. I will admit that a Mac is a wonderful machine, but I like PCs better. I also like that I don’t have the “Apple Mindset” which you’ll hear me blogging about in the future. Thank you for reading, I just felt that I had to clear that up.

  1. Great idea, but will this work over the long run?

  2. Sometimes it’s really that simple, isn’t it? I feel a little stupid for not thinking of this myself/earlier, though.

  3. Damn, that sound’s so easy if you think about it.
